The National Institute of Trial Lawyers is an invitation only professional organization composed of premier trial lawyers from each state. These lawyers exemplify the very best qualities and qualifications of a lawyer. Each member must meet stringent qualifications as a civil or criminal trial lawyer. These lawyers practice in a variety of fields to help and promote the ethical and elite practice of law. Selection is based on a thorough multi-phase process which includes peer nominations and third party research. Each member must be in good standing with their local compliance organization. Membership is extended to only a select few in each state and/or region. In fact, less than .05% of all lawyers will be invited to join the National Institute of Trial Lawyers.
How We Select Our Lawyers
The National Institute of Trial Lawyers was created as an invitation only collective, where the nations leading lawyers as well as up and coming legal talent could showcase their careers and skill sets. By allowing our members to create detailed profiles, we are giving them a place to communicate to prospective clients, employers and other members of the legal community.
We review each applicant before inclusion, to ensure our database has only reputable attorneys. By keeping the quality of our members high, we distinguish ourselves from other law firm directories. The attorneys in our directory have demonstrated a commitment to ethical business practice and exemplified themselves not only as superb lawyers, but also as dedicated advocates for their clients who provide an above average degree of customer service and consistent, effective legal representation.
