Practice Areas

Jessica Flowers began her passion for the law as an AmeriCorps volunteer at the Legal Services in Lawrence, Massachusetts. While also working full-time for the Boston Red Sox, she assisted the homeless population in applying for food stamps and obtaining other benefits. She found her love of the law in advocating for those facing difficult times in their lives. She graduated from New England School of Law magna cum laude and served in the United States Army as a JAG Attorney. She took every opportunity to learn and grow in her practice while she was there. She was an advisor to commanders and investigators conducting military investigations, and she also prosecuted offenders under the Uniform Code of Military Justice. She went on to be a Research Attorney in the Senate Majority Research office for the Hawaii Senate and then took a position as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Honolulu County.

In Hawaii, she began practicing family law and earned an excellent reputation amongst her colleagues for her zealous advocacy and hard work. Upon relocating to Fayetteville, North Carolina, she has stepped seamlessly into the Cumberland County Bar and continued to advocate for family law clients. She is the kind of person you want in your corner when going through a tough time. With her extensive knowledge of military life, she can thoughtfully and zealously advocate for your rights.

Jessica Flowers also volunteers at her community church with the Heritage Girls and with several autism advocacy groups.
